Advising Automobile Dealers is a Texas Limited Liability Company, owned and operated by John Pico. The people listed below are independent contractors who also work for other businesses.

John Pico, BA, JD has been advising automobile dealers since 1972 and through six decades has completed over 1,000 automobile dealership transactions. He is the Managing Member of Advising Automobile Dealers LLC.

 In 1982, he sold his law firm, retired from the practice of law and moved to Aspen, Colorado to raise his family. While there, he specialize in advising dealers buying and selling dealerships, and has been employed by dealers, lenders, courts and investors to consult in a myriad dealership purchase and sale transactions whose combined values exceed . . . . Robert C. Sexton, BA spent over 30-years working for the State of Colorado. He retired as the Director of the Auto Industry Division of the Colorado Department of Revenue. He is a licensed Private Investigator and a licensed Real Estate Broker.

He has also served as the Executive Secretary of the Motor Vehicle Dealer Licensing Board where, among other duties, he was responsible for licensing in the Auto Industry Division. With a background of over 30-years experience in law enforcement, Mr. Sexton was also responsible for licensing, regulatory enforcement and criminal investigations of all licensed motor vehicle dealers in the Auto Industry Division.
